Packrat is a desktop library for game assets you've bought: find any sprite, tileset, sound, or font in seconds.

• Browse and search your asset folders, even inside zips and rars, with previews.
• Connect your itch.io account: Packrat downloads your purchases and skips packs you already have.
• Add free itch.io assets in one click.
• Optional: let Claude Code search your library and copy assets into a project.

Free and open source (MIT).

Install. 

• Windows: run the installer; Windows may warn because it isn't code-signed, so choose More info → Run anyway. 
• Linux: make the AppImage executable and run it.
